Position: Cleaner
Location: Masjid Ayesha Bradford, UK
Employment Type: Part-Time/Permenant
Working Pattern: Tuesday and Friday, 10am - 12pm (4 Hours a week)
Salary: £11.50 per hour

Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a mosque cleaner. The successful candidate will ensure that the mosque is kept clean, hygienic, and welcoming for worshippers and visitors. This role is vital in maintaining the sanctity and cleanliness of the mosque in accordance with Islamic principles.
Key Responsibilities:
General Cleaning:
Sweep, mop, and vacuum all prayer areas, halls, classrooms, and corridors.
Dust and clean surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and fixtures
Sanitation:
Clean and disinfect wudhu (ablution) areas, toilets, and washrooms regularly.
Replenish supplies such as soap, tissue, and cleaning products as needed.

Waste Management:
Additional Duties:
Monitor cleaning supplies and report when stock needs replenishing.
Identify and report maintenance issues, such as leaks or damages, to the mosque management.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
Clear DBS
Knowledge of maintaining cleanliness in accordance with Islamic values is an advantage.
Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
Reliability and punctuality.
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of hygiene.
Respectful and mindful of the mosque environment and worshippers.
